Xiaomi has announced that it has sold over 600,000 units of the Redmi Note 3 smartphone in roughly 2 months of weekly sales in India. Xiaomi’s Global VP, Hugo Barra, announced the news in a Facebookpost and added that this is the company’s “biggest record yet” for the country.

Minor cons of the product include:

No micro SD slot is present; the SIM 2 slot is used as Micro SD slot.

  • No NFC technology
    Front facing camera doesn’t have flash.
    Non water-resistant

If we overlook the minor setbacks of the phone, the phone is extremely recommendable as it comes with so many new tech features within the 10-12K budgets.

Motorola Moto G4 plus

Motorola Moto G4 plus was announced as well as released in May 2016. It has got a 5.5 inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen phone of the dimension 153 x 76.6 x 9.8 mm (6.02 x 3.02 x 0.39 in). The 15K budget phone is being sold at a very fast pace as it has so many eye-catchy features in it. But it has got some disadvantages too. The cons of the phone are:

Lack of USB port C support (provided by other phones like LeEco in the same price range)
No NFC technology
Battery is irremovable.
Looks a bit thicker

If we overlook these setbacks, this phone is recommendable.

One Plus 3

One Plus launched its new handset One Plus 3 in June 2016. It has 5.5 inch Optic AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M colours touch screen of the dimension 152.7 x 74.7 x 7.4 mm (6.01 x 2.94 x 0.29 in), protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

It runs on GSM, HSPA and LTE technology, supporting 2G, 3G as well as 4G network. It is also EDGE and GPRS enabled.

It supports Dual Nano SIMs.

Its android version is Marshmallow v6.0.1. The chipset used is Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 with Quad-core (2×2.15 GHz Kryo& 2×1.6 GHz Kryo) CPU and Adreno 530 GPU.

It has no provision of expanding memory externally, hence does not support any Micro SD feature. Its internal memory consists of 64 GB ROM, 6 GB RAM.

No expansion of external memory, hence limited storage
No voLTE feature

If we ignore these minor cons, the product at 25-30K range is recommendable.
